This specimen was collected in 1878 which is too early to be able to pick the correct year. I'd wager there have been others like it.

It now goes back to 1830 and I don't think anything is that old... thanks to whoever fixed it. I edited the subject to reflect the change (it was "Date picker year only goes back to 1880; some specimens are older") as the latest year is 2012 and there are some newer specimens such as this one from 2013, so it would be good if 2013 and 2014 were added.

Still only goes up to 2012 and here is another specimen and another and another with collection year of 2013 so I had to enter them as 2012.
As it's now 2015 I think we can safely add 2013 and 2014. :^)

Now up to 2015... and on a Sunday too. :^) And that also explains why NFN suddenly stopped recording my transcriptions until I logged out and switched browsers... lol. It's fine now.
