"ti-ti swamp" interesting name?

Here are some pictures on one near Apalacheecola
This seems to be a particular type of swamp in Florida. But this link says a town in Georgia is named after them! Based on that town's name, the pronunciation looks like "ty" or "tie"?And now you know! Well, I didn't! :p

You KNOW you can't trust an Englishman to correctly pronounce and American name... I mean, how do they get "bonnet" from "hood?!" Or "Wellies" from "rain boots?" Speaking of "boot" how does that come from "trunk?" Of course, every once in a while, they get it right. I'll agree with "tie". But being a 'lazy American' I'll stay with "ty!" 😛

He must have been drinking tea when he wrote that card, and felt a little British. 😛
