Image ANN0004b1u Trying to determine name on label

#scientist #name #unclear Label says 'Euphorbia su*pinda Gray', * is a crossed-out letter (possibly s). Each word is in a different color ink, 2nd word is typed while first and third are hand-written. I can't find Euphorbia supinda or E.suspinda anywhere. I can't find any Euphorbia su... (anything) that includes 'Gray' (other Euphorbias do).

The closest name I can find is Euphorbia supina Raf., which is a trysted name per EOL (page 8675044) but a synonym of Euphorbia maculata L. per TPL (kew-82402) and ITIS (TSN 513410) and a synonym of Chamaesyce maculata (L.) Small per plants.USDA (symbol EUSU).

The images at EOL and plants.USDA are plausibly the same plant to an untrained eye, but someone who knows what they're doing will have to determine the correct name of this specimen.
