Additional notes attached to images

Will the discussions attached to images be included in the scientific database, or are they just for Notes from Nature users?
I added a researcher's comment to (http://talk.notesfromnature.org/#/subjects/ANN00005km), but should I have bothered?
If anyone else does this, note you can't go back in your browser to the original image after entering a comment, so open the comment page in a separate browser window!
