If "Altitude" is missing?

  On the Calbug pages, if the altitude is missing, should we leave the field blank, or enter something like "not shown"? Similarly, if a value is shown that suggests altitude, but no units are given, should we leave the field blank, or record the number with "units missing?"

  Calbug are mostly USA centric so feet most often used? If altitude is missing I leave blank. A database search at the end can bring up all the entries with blanks for a closer look.
