Missing Batch Number in Ornithological

  In the Ornithological transcribing, what if you don't have the first Batch number? I have a date where the batch number should be written like this "1956 - 60" so is the 60 the batch number or part of the date?

  I would use 1956 -60 as the date, it's unusual but more is better in my view. At least you then have all the information transcribed.

  Unfortunately we had a storm here and a couple of blackouts and now I am on a different page 😦 I never got to finish the first two. Will that be a problem later?

  Not a problem, there are, I believe, four sets of eyes on each transcribed entry. This is to ensure correct transcription without having to have an 'expert' using their time to check every single one.
