Omit comma before scientist's name suffix? (such as Jr.)

  The CalBugs collector field help text says to separate collectors' names with commas.

  Some names contain a comma, such as "Paul H. Arnaud, Jr.".

  I've been entering this as "Paul H. Arnaud Jr.", omitting the comma.

  Is this OK, or will this cause other problems? (such as taking "Jr." as the surname)
