What should I do here? The slider only goes back to 1890.
Also, if anyone can help me identify Manchester NL I'd be grateful.

I reckon that's Manchester, New Jersey.
However, Wikipedia shows there were two Manchesters. There's one in Ocean County, and in 1886 there was another in Passaic County.

Oh, so that L is a J... I suppose it makes most sense out of all the Manchesters in the US. Wikipediaing it, it turns out that there used to be two Manchesters in NJ but one was dissolved in 1908, so I can't put down the exact county with absolute certainty.
Edit: You ninja'd me.

Also if date goes too far back for the pull down menu, I'd put it in the Habitat or Other notes boxes, so we keep a record.
