Notes From Nature Talk

Multiple labels.

As seen on the left, this plant sample has 3 labels, ranging in dates from 1901 to 1976. Help! ie. from which label should the information be taken? It is unclear where the sample was originally picked, and which nomenclature to use. Any suggestions?

Looks as though it was collected in Auburn, Ala. The only relevant date is the collection date, 1901. md68135 in the thread "Conflicting determinations of species" says that technically they want the newest annotation, so the species is Senecio anonymus and the scientific author is Wood, I think.
