Sonora Pass

    The tag for this insect only says "Sonora Pass". Google places that in the Toiyabe National Forest, CA, however when I tried to locate the County, the map leaves me unclear whether the location is in CA or NV. Anyone familiar with the area able to help?

    Sonora Pass is in California. It lies at the junction of 3 counties. Without any additional information go with Alpine Co. It is the parking area right at the pass.
