Just an observation for whomever designs/maintains this board:
The lead images on http://talk.notesfromnature.org/ are displayed as 161px x 121px thumbnails, however they're loading the full resolution 4000px x 3000px images. e.g. http://www.notesfromnature.org/subjects/calbug/standard/516d8111ea3052046a000488.jpg
These large 1MB files are slow to load and bog the page down, even on broadband. Perhaps there are better-sized thumbnail source URLs that can be used?
