Notes From Nature Talk
Two tags seem to describe different specimens, at different locations.
Juarez Mts?
No location info.
No information
Only location info ("Asheville, N.C.") has been crossed out.
Collector's name obscured. The surname might be Wilson.
Whoops. In that case, the database has a lot of incorrect locations for those Kennedy specimens. All but one are labeled Washington.
Year is cut off, but other specimens from the same locality and collector are all marked 1972. So, that's what I went with.
I agree. The only other option is 1936 and that would be too early for these collectors.
Washington seems correct. There are other Sunnyside specimens from this collector and all but one are labeled Washington.
Ha!
"Gordon F. Ferris" has several listings in the database. The name appears in many variations, even once (incorrectly) as "G. Harris."
Relevant information is missing.
Kudos to anyone who can read the middle tag.
Is 758.1 meant to be the elevation?
EMEC304950, a similar specimen, is in the database as Wisconsin. Should be Washington. The confusion comes from both having Pierce county.
Not sure about collector, but I think the date is July 30 1964.
No collector.
No locality mentioned, unless county and town are meant to be the same.
No collector mentioned. Collection year is unclear (82, perhaps?).
