Notes From Nature Talk
No label information recorded in photograph.
Dam construction was 1963. So it can't be 1912.
Pretty minimal labeling here. I'll add what's there. Campus? Guessing Berkeley...
Also, collected as pupa and emerged. I inputed collection date as start and emergence date as end date.
There is a "Sahuarita" in Pima Co., so I included that as my best guess.
...I believe. Also Collector Doug Mullins (?). 9 mi N. S??ta
Nice specimen. Terrible label. Made a few guesses here. I.e., host likely to be Agave palmeri, as that is a known host for this species...
Not much information here. Cordoba is in Veracruz, so I indicated that. No date given.
Photograph cuts off too much information for a decent transcription.
I assume the Co. is a typo. There is no "Slooe" Co. in ND. There is a Slope Co. and Burning Coal Vein is nearby. I chose "Slope Co."
Assumed this was Cook county, as most of Chicago is within Cook. But not listed on record.
Out collecting on the Fourth of July (1957). Great stuff, John M. Burns! #dedication
Also no year, and I assume Hewlett is the collector.
Made a few guesses on this. Upland is in San Bernardino Co. However collector calls it "Uplands." So I used that name.
Collected between 0700h and 0729h? Assuming this was part of an experiment?
Indeed!
...for some reason the system is forcing me to go with Yolo. And I know that Davis isn't in Yosemite. 😃
No county given. And seeing as Yosemite encompasses three counties (Tuolumne, Mariposa, Madera), I didn't want to guess. However...
