Notes From Nature Talk
Country listed as Spanish Guinea, modern Equatorial Guinea
Has one date of 1/5/80 and another of Dec. 3 1966; I assume the later one is from when it was cataloged in this collection or something.
no location or collector information. UMich collection but no idea if it's actually from Michigan.
4-5-1965, probably April 5th, but could be May 4th if they're using European dates
Geneauh river? Google didn't turn up anything likely.
County listed as "Pittsylvania" but no county by that name on Virginia list
scientific name "Ilex corecea"? Something is marked out and I can't tell if it was removed or changed.
I'm pretty sure there are years for all of them, but they got cut off in the scan.
Really hard to read this one's handwriting in places.
This should be page 130, not 30; I misread the initial scan.
I also wasn't entirely clear what was going on in 58 #12-13 with that cross-out.
I also wasn't entirely clear what was going on in 15 #12-13 with that cross-out.
Very unsure of that last scientific name; closest I could find for genus was "Dendroica" and nothing for that subspecies.
Wow, you got a fun one! :-b
Google suggests that genus name is actually "Motacilla"
13-1 -- is that "p. polumbus"?
