  Sinaloa is a province listed in the Province/State box and Mazatlan is the location. Distance and direction are often (though not always) listed after the location. I agree with "5 mi" but as you say the direction is completely hidden behind the pin. I'm unsure how to deal with the hidden bit (got the same problem elsewhere), some-one more knowledgeable is usually along shortly.

  Not possible to read, so just hash tag it up on here and a scientist will look more closely at it. Type in what you can though!
