  It means the P. tenue & P. albomarginatum are synonyms. According to The Plant List, there are more than 90 synonyms for this species!

  If there is a new accepted name do we record that or should we transcribe as seen?

  I would transcribe as shown. It would be easy for the database managers to later convert to accepted names, but not back.
