  To draw an 8, you loop down and end at the top. To draw a 4 you loop up and end at the bottom. The line is continuous from top to top. So: 8

  Although I have a friend who makes funny 4s like this, my gut says 8. Of course, my gut also says most bugs are icky-looking.
