#176 Mycena sp. ? or possibly Collybia. Ordinarily I wouldn't think of sending you one of these tiny species that dry to almost nothing, particularly when I found no microscopic features when I examined it in the fresh state, but the very distinctive tubers or sclerotia from which it seems to spring may permit you to identify it with no trouble. I could find nothing like it in the Mycena book. Coll. 10/10/48 growing on leaf mat and decayed chips in the woods. The pilei were from 1mm to 3 mm, the stipes long, twisted, filiform, the sclerotia to 4 mm diam. and of the same color as the tubers of Squirrel corn (Dicentra).
