Notes From Nature Talk

Two questions on this one

  • jono.mccallum by jono.mccallum

    Is Aspalaga in Gadsden County?
Could 1944 be the year of collection? (next to Det. F. J. Hermann)
Note: I entered Carex abscondita as the scientific name, assuming Carex retrocurva is obsolete.

    1. Yes it is 2) No that's the date it was determined. 3) Transcribe as it is written, ie the old name and the scientists can do a check etc if they need to

When there are two names given, and neither has been crossed out, I've been putting e.g. "Carex abscondita = Carex retrocurva". Someone suggested it a while back.
