CRAB: What is Shore & Searcher above Sta. No.?

There is often Shore or Searcher written above the Sta No. in the bottom right side of the label, also sometimes Gerda. Do we need to input this in the Sta No input field, or is it trying to describe the habitat?? If it goes in the Sta No field, do you want it inputted like "xxxx-xx Shore" or "Shore xxxx-xx"? Thanks so much!

Maybe in the 'other text' field? What does Search refer to? This one makes me imagine an RV driving out and coming back with bucketloads of crabs... http://www.notesfromnature.org/subjects/crabs/crabs01/561a964162b39a4f358d11b1.jpg

I'm sure "shore" is the habitat. I've never seen "Searcher", but I would put it into the "other text" field.

How strange, as soon as I wrote this, I got a specimen with "Searcher": http://talk.notesfromnature.org/#/subjects/ANN00057ce But there it's in the "Sta. No" field, so I think I will put "Searcher-260" into the "Sta. No." field.

Dean posted the answer. Shore is site description, and Searcher was a research vessel. I had already figured out that R/V stood for research vessel, but I do so love Helen's scenario which makes me laugh everytime I read it.
