Notes From Nature Talk

How many collectors?

  • Armchari_scientist by Armchari_scientist

I regularly have cards that mention several collectors. The instruction isn't quite clear if we are supposed to enter all of the names in their database or just the 'eagle-eye' that actually spotted the plant / insect / fungus / ....

    What do you guys do?

Depends if the other scientist have any value for cross-reference.
I suppose it doesn't matter, as long as you put the important one first.

I'm transcribing exactly as written (in the hopes of getting more agreement with other transcribers), except that if names are on several lines with no punctuation or other separation I'm putting commas between them.

Hi guys! From the instructions at the Bugs, anyway, it said to separate multiple collectors with commas. Do you use the Super Secret Database? It's a lifesaver, especially once you get the hang of it. Many are listed, a lot of what we are getting, aren't but it's wonderful to look up things when those pins are blocking letters.

If you notice, lots of bugs have several collectors listed so I'm assuming they want them all listed as the tags read.
